Doctoral students will be provided with support material and tutorials through the virtual campus to enable them to carry out this activity in a manner that guarantees the highest level of success. The doctoral student, together with their supervisor/s, will select and organise the results of his/her research work to be published in a journal of international impact.
Proof of completion of this activity will be the publication of a scientific article in a JCR journal or a granted patent. The Academic Committee of the Programme will exceptionally consider the acceptance of an article published in a SCOPUS-listed journal, when the PhD student has exhausted all the extensions of stay in the programme and proves that he/she is unable to publish his/her results in a JCR journal. Completion of the activity will be registered in Laurea Academic. Description of the procedure: 1. After acceptance of the scientific article by the journal, the PhD student must upload the Editor's email accrediting the acceptance and/or a pdf copy of the accepted article onto LAUREA, in the corresponding activity. These two pieces of evidence will provide proof that the activity has been completed. - The title of the journal and its quality indexes, Impact Factor, position in the JCR area should be included. - The same article cannot be used by more than one PhD student to pass this activity. • It is compulsory for the PhD student to submit the scientific article indicating "Health Sciences PhD Programme, Universidad Católica de Murcia UCAM, Campus de los Jerónimos N.135, Guadalupe 30107, Murcia, Spain” in the affiliation section. 2. In the case of filing a patent, the document to be submitted will be the Patent Title or the Publication of the Approval from the SPTO. 3. Evaluation report: The tutor will be in charge of validating whether or not the activity has been passed on LAUREA ACADEMIC .
One article (indexed in JCR) related to the subject of the thesis, published in the calendar year in which the student was admitted to the PhD Programme, will be accepted. To do so, the documentation described above must be uploaded on LAUREA ACADEMIC and the tutor will evaluate and validate said documentation if necessary.
