Workshop on Doctoral Thesis Writing

Participation in a workshop on the writing of a doctoral thesis. PhD students may engage in this activity as of the first year in the programme. However, we recommend students do so from the second year onwards in the case of full-time students, and from the third year onwards in the case of part-time students. These seminars will be offered in both the on-site as well as on-line modalities, the latter via the Virtual Campus tools.

General and university-specific rules on how to write and defend a Thesis. Information regarding the two modalities in which the report can be presented at our university: Conventional style and Compendium of publications.

The student must upload a proposed table of contents for the thesis and a slide presentation summarising the basic contents of the PhD thesis project in 3 minutes to the two tasks on the virtual campus. The head of the activity will evaluate the submitted work. If the evaluation is favourable, the head will forward the information to EIDUCAM, which will issue a certificate of successful completion. Campus documents and the certificate must be uploaded to Laurea for validation by the tutor.
The student must upload the documentation accrediting this recognition to Laurea, so that it can be validated by the tutor.
