The UCAM Research Ethics Committee (hereinafter, the Committee) is responsible for ensuring compliance with ethical and legal principles regarding research involving human or animal subjects, whether such research uses biological samples of human or animal origin or requires the use of personal and/or clinical data.
Furthermore, the Committee contributes to the training of researchers on the requirements and standards that a research project must meet to be approved by the Committee and updates the Committee's documentation to reflect current legislation.
